A few weeks ago, Cameron and I had a lovely early lunch and tried Petit Robert Bistro on Commonwealth Avenue. Since we live in the Fenway, we love trying out new places right in our own neighborhood. We had the best experience and it was quite romantic since we were the only ones in the restaurant during half of our time there. Don't let this deter you from going - we were there at 11am on a Saturday morning and they had just opened. I had plans with my mom already that day and wanted to spend some quality time with Cameron. He ordered the Roasted Chicken, which was cooked absolutely perfectly. It came with dripping juices and a roasted potato; a perfect lunch portion. Since it was 11am, I was in more of a brunch mood and ordered the Croque Madame Ratatouille aka DEE-FREAKING-LICIOUS!  In an attempt to be more "healthy", I removed the top piece of bread, cut into the fried egg and let it ooze out all over the ratatouille and other half of grilled cheese. It was essentially like a french ratatouille omelet with a side of toast and a side salad. I was in heaven. The staff was attentive and incredible. It was lovely to "escape" Boston and enjoy a taste of France with a view of the "Eiffel Tower" outside our window. You must try this quaint bistro!
