It's crazy to think that a year ago today I was trying on wedding dresses with my mother….it was an experience that I will cherish for a lifetime! Throughout the "Say Yes to the Dress" process, I struggled between two desires: 1) A classic white mermaid gown (which I ended up choosing here)…or 2) An ivory/blush embellished aline sheath. My first desire was met immediately when I found my Stella York gown in North Carolina. Even though I was conflicted between the two different dress styles, I figured I would go down the classic aisle for that once in a lifetime moment. However, my eyes still love looking for those gorgeous gowns meeting my second desire. The other day, I nearly fell off my desk chair when BHLDN's Spring 2015 collection was revealed. Every dress radiates romance, but the Wisteria Gown by Vatana Watters particularly caught my eye:
Can you say Wedding Vow Renewal? (very cute winky face) My tips for everyone enjoying engagement bliss are:
1) Take it one day at a time.
2) Stay true to yourself and desires.
3) Don't care what anyone else thinks.
4) Cherish these once in a lifetime moments.
5) Look forward to the new chapter you are about to enter.
